This month, GenderHopes features the organisation Promundo. Founded in 1997, Promundo is a global leader in promoting gender justice and preventing violence by engaging men and boys in partnership with women and girls. Promundo’s work focuses on transforming gender norms and masculinities in the institutions where they are constructed (such as schools and the workplace) and in high-violence and post-conflict settings.
